Capriccioli, Liscia Ruja, Cala di Volpe and the many small bays along the coast combine Mediterranean vegetation, granite rocks and the turquoise and emerald shades the area is famous for.<br \/>In September the sea is still warm and traffic on the SS125 and the road to Porto Cervo often eases compared with August: the drive from Olbia Airport to Porto Cervo is about 30 km, with travel time depending on traffic. <\/p>\n<h3 class=\"isSelectedEnd\">Exploring Costa Smeralda with a private driver<\/h3>\n<p class=\"isSelectedEnd\">Transport is worth planning even in September: Porto Cervo and Cala di Volpe are only a few kilometres apart, but many beaches are reached by minor roads with limited parking.
